Shipping Container Scam Alert

IMPORTANT: SCAM ALERT

• NTI has become aware of a recent scam targeting customers purchasing shipping containers on-line.
• NTI has been mentioned as a third party in these online shipping container scams in an attempt to authenticate the on-line sale and insurance cover.
• These scams are using the ‘NTI’ and ‘National Transport Insurance’ name to deceive purchasers into making payments via bank transfers.

PLEASE BE ADVISED:  

• ‘NTI’ and ‘National Transport Insurance’ (or variables of these names in combination) doesn’t sell direct insurance products covering the transportation and delivery of shipping containers purchased online.
• We do not send bank transfer information via SMS or social media; and 
• When purchasing insurance products NTI provides a secure payment platform 

NTI has reported these scams to the Authorities and are currently assisting in the investigations.
