Brisbane Zero Emissions Truck Ride Morning March 2023

The NTI team recently attended the Queensland Trade and Logistics Council (QTLC) Zero Emissions Truck Ride Morning, hosted by the Port of Brisbane at their Multi-User Terminal space. 

The day was organised by the QTLC, which is a Department of Transport and Main Roads supported industry reference body intended to support and advocate for Queensland's supply chain efficiency. 

This was an excellent event all around, with a mix of transport operators, consignors and government/regulatory bodies coming along. We were the only insurer in attendance. 

There were six different ZEV trucks on the day to ride along in, as well as really honest discussion on the collective challenges around the rollout of ZEVs. This included discussions on charging infrastructure and on regulatory issues such as steer axle mass.
