NTI’s Truck Assist announces partnership with Melbourne Renegades
Australia’s leading roadside assistance and truck insurance specialist, Truck Assist, is excited to announce a new multi-year partnership with the Melbourne Renegades as both Official Community Partner, and Official Presenting Partner of the Melbourne Renegades Champions League.
Truck Assist General Manager, Alan Hasted said the partnership is built on a shared goal of connecting communities.
“Nothing connects people and communities together like sport – especially our “national game” of cricket.
“As a proud Australian organisation, Truck Assist knows how hard truck owners and operators work to keep Australian industries moving and the important role this plays for communities and families across the country.
“We’re proud of the way we support thousands of Australians from all cultures and corners of the globe every year, and are excited to support the teams competing to take out the Champions League.”
The 2021-22 season will be the sixth edition of The Melbourne Renegades Champions League, with the 2020-21 season being impacted by COVID-19. Six teams will feature – India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal – in a Country of Origin, T20 format tournament.
The competition aims to increase the number of South Asian cricketers who progress from recreational cricket to professional cricket in Australia, and to showcase the talented South Asian players and match officials living in Victoria.
Melbourne Renegades General Manager, James Rosengarten said there’s a great amount of excitement surrounding the new season.
“We’re excited to have the Melbourne Renegades Champions League back in action again this summer,” he said.
“As a club, we are determined to have a meaningful connection with our community and the partnership with Truck Assist is integral to assisting us in really bringing people together and uniting them through cricket.
“It’s pleasing to again be able to provide this opportunity for our community to come together and to celebrate some great cultures and cricket.”
The partnership will officially kick off in December 2021.
