Matt Stone Racing Announce Multi-Year Naming Rights Deal & Reveal 2022 Liveries
Matt Stone Racing are pleased to announce that they will contend the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship season under the Truck Assist Racing banner.
After reaching a multi-year, two car naming rights agreement with Truck Assist in 2021, this was a major piece of the puzzle complete as MSR continue to build on consistency and provide a stable foundation for the team as the new era of Supercars in 2023 quickly approaches.
“Growing our relationship with Truck Assist Racing and NTI into a two-car program, gives us a great base to move forward and grow the performance of the team,” said Team Owner Matt Stone. “We are greatly pleased that all our partners are staying onboard and stepping up to a much bigger multi-year program that we are putting together.”
As Australia’s leading online truck insurance and roadside assistance provider, Truck Assist have had a heavy presence within various teams, and Supercars themselves since the middle of 2018.
With the motorsport industry being so reliant on event’s taking place all around the country, the transport sector plays a vital part in making this happen. To have the support of Truck Assist at your fingertips, 24/7, no matter what, no matter where, provides great support and peace of mind.
Sticking with tradition and staying true to the brand, the team’s liveries for this year’s season will feature the bright orange and metallic grey colour scheme that Truck Assist is renowned for.
Truck Assist General Manager Alan Hasted says the team can’t wait to be trackside for 2022, soaking up the atmosphere.
“We’re excited to see MSR and Truck Assist back in action, together for another season. The cars look amazing, and the orange and grey colour scheme will come alive on track,”
“On the back of 2021, we anticipate 2022 to be a stellar year for the team and race fans alike, now that opportunities to travel, and for people to gather, are opening up again.”
Both Truck Assist Racing Commodores will turn their first laps at Queensland Raceway tomorrow, Wednesday 16th February, at the team’s pre-season test day, as preparations continue for the opening round of the season at Sydney Motorsport Park
